What to Do After GSEB Class 10 Result
If You Scored 75% or Above
You have strong options. Decide quickly between Science, Commerce, or Arts. Many popular schools fill their Science seats within days of results. Apply immediately to your preferred school for Class 11 admission.
Also consider joining Class 11 coaching early — Class 11 is a significant jump from Class 10. Read our guide: Science vs Arts After Class 10 — How to Choose the Right Stream.
If You Scored 50–74%
Commerce or Arts streams are your best options for Class 11. If you are set on Science, you may still get admission at some schools — but be prepared for harder work. Consider joining coaching from the very start of Class 11 to build a strong foundation.
If You Failed (Below 33% in Any Subject)
You can appear in GSEB Purak Pariksha (supplementary exam) to clear failed subjects in the same year. Apply at gseb.org within 10–14 days of the result. Do not panic — many students clear Purak Pariksha and go on to do well in Class 11. Read: GSEB Supplementary Exam 2026 — Dates, Fees, and How to Apply.
